Artist Bio

Amy Killoran is a Painter and multi-media artist based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Inspired by the sentimental objects and community traditions we treasure, she captures sentimental portraits through painting, lyric, and craft.

Born in Canada, and moving more than a dozen times across various Southern Ontario cities, Amy is inspired by Canadian communities, and sweet stories discovered during her travels.

Her work invites viewers to reflect on their own cherised community and sweet memories. Giving a hopeful perspective on the passage of time, reminding the audience of the enduring beauty found in the stories and objects we’ve loved and leave behind.

She received a Bachelor of Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and has continued studies at the Ontario College of Art and Design, and private study. Her practice is based on Toronto Ontario, Canada.
